“AK-47 Behind the Camera” Fans react to Ramzan Kadyrov settling the fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team
The dictator was quick to put an end to the dispute between his fighters
Ramzan Kadyrov may have just shown himself to be the most effective conflict resolver in the MMA-Game. An altercation between Khamzat Chimaev and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team at UFC 280, had put the fight world on the edge. However, as soon as the dispute had popped up, it died down equally quickly, although with some iron-fisted mediation.
Kadyrov, the dictator of Chechnya who has an iron grip over many fighters from the caucuses region stepped in personally to resolve the dispute between Chimaev and Khabib’s cousin, Abubakar Nurmagomedov. Posting a photo of the two hugging on Instagram, the warlord declared, “There is no quarrel between Khamzat Chimaev and Abubakr Nurmagomedov – I have made sure of it personally.”
Across social media, a video of the entire crew featuring Abubakar, Makhachev, Chimaev, and the former lightweight champion flooded across social media. Numragomedov, talking to the camera says, “We have talked to each other, and we apologized to each other, hugged and inshallah, I hope that in the future, we will only gather and fight for good reasons”
After Nurmagomedov spoke, a man ended the speech by promising to always stay together as a team as he gave a mention to Akhmat, the MMA Gym owned by Kadyrov.
Fans react to Ramzan Kadyrov’s role in settling the Nurmagomdeov-Chimaev dispute
While some fans praised Nurmagomedov’s leadership, others were quick to realize what was actually happening, i.e. the warlord wants the fighters to make peace. What is a positive development, was most likely fuelled only by the fear of threat to their own lives and that to heir families.
Fans were quick to mock the entire clan for preaching standing up to your values in public while behind closed doors, a stern video call from Kadyrov was enough to make them fold. Here are how the fans reacted to Chimaev and Nurmagomedov settling their disputes.
