Dana White came on the latest episode of Mike Tyson’s podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson. The UFC president enjoys a good relationship with the former heavyweight boxing champion. The show has previously featured sports stars like Ryan Garcia, Henry Cejudo, and Kamaru Usman. During the episode with White, Tyson revealed that he would be training Francis Ngannou for his upcoming fight. This visibly surprised White, who has a strained relationship with Ngannou.

“I am going to be training Francis Ngannou, to fight Tyson Fury”, said Tyson. White casually laughed with no interest and steered away from the topic. After failed contract negotiations, the former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou and White had a major fallout last year. The issues between the two were purely related to the fighter’s wages and contract renewal. Ngannou left the company after failing to agree on a new contract. The fact that Tyson mentioned the topic despite White’s dislike of Ngannou surprised many. A fan tweeted, ‘He knows Dana won’t say sh** to him”, referring to Tyson’s feared reputation.

Widely known to be “The Baddest Man on the Planet,” very few would go against Tyson. No doubt his boxing days are past him, but he still entertains the fans. Ngannou appeared on the podcast in the past. The news about Tyson training Ngannou is one of the biggest collaborations in recent memory.
