Alex “Poatan” Pereira recently defeated Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295. Pereira bagged the vacant light heavyweight title with a second-round TKO of Prochazka. Prochazka promised to return better than ever. As such, he is currently undergoing some kind of winter training.

Amongst the diverse roster of various fighters in the promotion, Jiri Pochazka holds a special spot. The fighter is infamous for his rigorous routine and practices, which amazes the fans. Recently, a photo of him lying na*ed on the snow had fans mesmerized. A fan wrote, “Fighting his demons again.”

Prochazka tasted defeat for the first time since 2015. He went on an unbeaten streak from 2015 and entered the UFC in 2020. He was granted the title shot after two wins and became the champion in just the third fight in the UFC. However, the loss against Pereira made Jiri more hungry to return back to the top.
