“Verified crook” – Fans suspect corruption as Dana White’s live reaction to Paddy Pimblett fight result at UFC 282 makes rounds on the internet

Paddy Pimblett being awarded a win against Jared Gordon has not sat well among the fans. Dana White, on the contrary, seems to have expected the decision victory judging by his live reaction from the T-Mobile Arena. The video of the UFC boss reacting to the result of the fight has gone viral as fans suspect the fight was rigged.
Ever since Paddy Pimblett and Dana White joined hands to bash Ariel Helwani on a podcast, the fans reckon that the Liverpool fighter was bound to receive special treatment from the UFC boss and the promotion. Pimblett’s controversial win over Jared Gordon after a close fight couldn’t have come at a better time for fans to let their “corruption” theories on the internet.
To add to the accusations, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy posted a video where he was seated next to White nervously waiting for the result to be announced. The video showed the UFC boss nodding his head in affirmation the judges scored the fight to be a unanimous decision win for Paddy The Baddy. Several fans and pros were shocked by the decision of the judges to score the fight in favor of the rising lightweight star.
Adding to the drama, footage from the stands shows that while White nodded in agreement with the judges’ decision, Joe Rogan was shocked to hear the result of the fight. Fans posting a comparison of both their reaction began to bash White for favoritism towards Paddy The Baddy. The UFC supremo in the post-fight press conference said Jared Gordon “blew the fight” with a terrible gameplan in the third round.

It is worth mentioning that the judges of a fight are appointed by the State’s Athletic Commission. In UFC 282 case, it was the Nevada commission that assigned those judges. UFC has no part in assigning the judges to a fight. Dana White himself has gone on furious rants in the past about the terrible judges and has claimed to “ruin” fighters’ lives.

Paddy Pimblett himself has come out and bashed the likes of Joe Rogan, Dominick Cruz, and other pros that believed he lost the fight. The Liverpool fighter claimed that the fight was not even close and he fully deserved to win.
