“Ian’s WAG sliding into Paddys DMs” – Fans take free swing at ‘Ultimate Cyber Bully circuit’ champ Sean Strickland’s BOLD tweet

Sean Strickland has an infamous and brash approach in and out of the cage. The fighter doesn’t hinge or falter when voicing his opinions. This saw him recently get into a drawn-out feud with Ian “Machado” Garry on the subject of his wife, Layla Anna-Lee. Garry has withdrawn from the upcoming UFC 296 card due to sickness. However, others believe the pressure made him pull out.
The middleweight champion Sean ‘Tarzan’ Strickland had prompted Garry to be a victim of circumstances. Strickland also called out Anna-Lee on X. Recently, Strickland took to X to post about Chris Curtis deleting his Twitter account and attacking Layla Anna-Lee once more. He wrote:
Y'all a bunch of c**ts...You bullied Chris Curtis so much he deleted his account. Then you bullied the C**k Gary out of a UFC fight.. Hope you all feel good about yourselves.....Guarantee Ian's WAG sliding into Paddys DMs if he winsSean Strickland via X
‘Tarzan’ had previously called out the 30-10 middleweight striker Curtis on defending Garry and his wife. Curtis had correspondingly quit his account on X, also blaming fan responses on the matter. Strickland used that instance to once again aim a shot at Ian Garry’s wife.
Strickland also invoked Paddy Pimblett as Anna-Lee’s supposed next target, with Garry quitting. Equally, “cyberbully” Strickland himself has caught a lot of flack for his abrasive and overt blame game. Some fans have taunted him for blaming them for his handiwork. Others, however, have reacted much harsher.
Fans react to Sean Strickland’s blame for Ian Garry and Chris Curtis exiting social media
Sean Strickland and rising welterweight contender Ian Garry recently locked horns on private matters. Garry’s marital status and self-promoting tendencies were recently dragged into play by many peers and fans. Hence, the fighter has withdrawn from the UFC 296 card. The likes of Chael Sonnen, Colby Covington, Leon Edwards, Neil Magny, and even Grant Dawson have voiced their dissent over him.
Strickland has now laid the blame on fans for forcing Garry out the same way Curtis quit X. See how fans have reacted to the situation:
Garry has become viral lately for all the wrong reasons—case in point – his gym etiquette and mocking rival Vicente Luque‘s religious beliefs. However, fans have reciprocated even more hate for Strickland, pinning the blame on them. Interestingly enough, the fighter has even commented on a few of those personally, like focussing more on rival Dricus Du Plessis.
