UFC superstar Conor McGregor is the most popular figure in the MMA space. His brash personality and performances in the octagon are part of ‘The Notorious’ legacy. However, along with fame comes controversies. Throughout his career, the Irish star had been accused of sexual misconduct multiple times. Another one arose recently that fans are viciously calling him out for.
‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor recently attended the Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Following the event arose many controversies. One of them was a sexual assault allegation by a woman who was also at the event. The Irishman was accused of ‘violently’ raping a woman in the men’s bathroom and had performed acts on her that was not consensual. However, this is not his first assault allegation as this happens to be the fourth accusation against the UFC star.
Among the other allegations, the recent one blew up on Twitter. Seemingly, fans have had enough of Conor McGregor getting constantly accused of misconduct. One fan wrote, “This paragraph really paints a picture,” referencing an excerpt from MMA Junkie detailing all the harassment cases instilled onto ‘The Notorious’ career.
Disregarding his career highlights, Conor McGregor is once again in the spotlight for another controversy. Throughout this, the fighter had never been charged and had reportedly not faced any repercussions following the allegations. According to TMZ, the Irishman had come out and denied the allegations.
Fans react to Conor McGregor’s fourth sexual assault allegation
Upon witnessing the news stories about Conor McGregor’s sexual assault at the NBA game, fans have had enough. This is not the first time, as the Irishman had been accused of misconduct multiple times and was not indicted for the matter. Fans on Twitter called out the Irish superstar and the UFC for failing to take legal action against ‘The Notorious.’ One fan tweeted, “This is like the 4th woman? One was beat up even. Dude will get another pass,” referencing the previous accusations.
Since the allegations, Conor McGregor had denied them. Fans had been going back and forth on the matter. Even fighter and rival Michael Chandler spoke in support of ‘The Notorious.’ Despite this, a minority of fans have been calling the UFC superstar out for not facing any repercussions. Currently, fans are waiting for the next move regarding the issue.
