“Blood money from Spotify” – Far-right activist bashes Joe Rogan for rejecting Donald Trump on the podcast
Joe Rogan gets bashed by Donald Trump supporter
Joe Rogan is quite the controversial figure. The UFC commentator has been in the headlines most of the time for his doings outside the MMA world. Not only is he an icon of the mixed martial arts sport but now also has the biggest platform in the United States of America which gets the MMA connoisseur into trouble most of the time.
It is not often that you see Joe Rogan on another podcast other than his. Recently the UFC commentator/comedian went on the Lex Fridman podcast. In this recent episode of the show, Joe and Lex spoke about Donald Trump, and Joe’s comments about the former president ruffled quite a few feathers in the right-wing community in the USA.
“I’m not a trump supporter in any way, shape, or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once. I’ve said no every time. I don’t want to help him and I’m not interested in helping him,” said Rogan on the Lex Fridman podcast. After his comments, The War Room hosted avid Trump supporter Steve Bannon who went on to blast the UFC commentator for his brutal comments on the former president.
Steve Bannon believes Donald Trump does not require Joe Rogan’s platform
Steve Bannon, the former advisor of Trump believes Joe’s comments were beyond offensive. “Joe Rogan’s trash-talking Trump, where’s Rogan, taking the $100 million blood money from Spotify? Where is he about Spotify putting this guy’s rap videos up and making money off him?” Bannon refers to mass shooter Robert Crimo’s rap music on Spotify.
“Your audience couldn’t handle War Room. Couldn’t follow it, start talking, um, inverted yield curve, your eyes would cross,” said Bannon on The War Room, as he went off on the UFC commentator. This is not the first time Rogan has got into trouble with political activists. Very recently Rogan was on all the news headlines when a lot of the doctors and political activists threatened to boycott Spotify if Rogan’s podcast continued to stream on that music platform.
Joe upset quite a few people in the country of the USA because of his controversial comments on the COVID 19 vaccine. Despite many controversies in his life, UFC has never let any of that be a hurdle to letting Rogan commentate in the biggest MMA promotion.
