Looks like Darren Till’s days as a UFC fighter are coming to an end. The Liverpool fighter has been removed from the active roaster leaving fans devastated.
The middleweight division has a new entry in its rankings pool. The rising fighter Brendan Allen, following his recent win, has replaced fan-favorite Darren Till in the Top 15. The Scouser who once looked promising to be the next big thing from England has had a fall from grace.
Recently after the rankings update, fans found out that the Liverpool fighter, Darren Till was no longer on the active roster. The popular Twitter bot account, “UFC Roster Watch” dropped the tweet about Till’s removal from the rankings pool. It is not often that fighters continue to stay with the promotion once removed from the rankings pool.
After the fighter’s recent run in the UFC, fans were always in dread of this day becoming reality. However, it still seems surreal to the MMA community that Till did not reach his potential. Entering the UFC roster with an undefeated run and also fighting for the title, Till gained a huge following.

Fans react to Darren Till’s removal from the UFC rankings pool
Till’s last fight in the UFC came against Dricus Du Plessis. The South African fighter dominated the former title contender in their three-round battle at UFC 282. Till lost the fight via brutal submission adding to his poor run in the promotion.
Darren Till’s injury streak did not help with the fighter’s poor form inside the octagon. The ‘Gorilla‘ recently went to train with the phenom Khamzat Chimaev in Sweden. This news gave fans hope about the scouser’s comeback.

He came into the UFC undefeated (12-0).
He is now 18-5. He's lost 5 of his last 6 and four of those loses were finishes.
He is also 30 years old. I believe this will reignite his fire & I predict he works his way back. pic.twitter.com/XJKWptsCHD

I'm not sure whether Darren Till was released, but I will always remember that after I interviewed Till prior to his most recent fight and after we were done, he looked me in the eyes and said something along the lines of "you're doing great work, keep it up"
