Charles Radtke demands money from reporters to answer questions (via X)
UFC welterweight Charles Radtke won his fight against Gilbert Urbina in UFC Vegas 85. He did so impressively via first-round knockout. Then, he insulted Colby Covington and champion Leon Edwards in his post-fight presentation, which captured the attention of the MMA community very well. Now, once again, he garnered the attention of the MMA community as he declined to answer questions from the press.
After Charles Radtke appeared at the post-fight presser, a reporter asked who he would like to face next. Instead of answering, ‘Chuck Buffalo’ questioned back the reports on how much money he would give him to answer. Further, he criticized the reporters for getting interviews for free and calling to get paid. As such, no reporters questioned him next, abruptly ending his presser right there. Here is what he said:

UFC fighters often participate in a post-fight press conference to answer questions from reporters concerning their fight and their future. It’s a usual practice in promotion, just like ceremonial weigh-ins, media days, and pre-fight press conferences. These help the fighters gain exposure to propel their careers forward. However, Charles Radtke had a different thought process and demanded money to do the pressers.
Charles Radtke is a teammate of UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad, who is rumored to fight for the title soon. ‘Chuck Buffalo’ only joined the UFC last year and won his debut against Blood Diamond via unanimous decision. Now, he secured his second win against Gilbert Urbina in UFC Vegas 85.

Charles Radtke finished Gilbert Urbina in the first round via knockout. It only took a couple of Radtke’s trademarked left hook to seal the deal for him. As such, Daniel Cormier, who interviewed ‘Chuck Buffalo’ asked him about the finish and how he felt.
In response, Radtke told Cormier he was confident in landing his left hook and boasted Gilbert Urimba didn’t even recover to stand properly. As such, he revealed that he entered into this fight to make a statement. He wanted to prove he was not all talk and could fight, insinuating the hatred he received in his last fight in UFC 293. Here is what he said:

Charles Radtke found fame in his UFC debut when he cursed to the Australian crowd in UFC 293. As such, he received huge criticism for it. But, ‘Chuck Buffalo’ wasn’t deterred by it and focused on his fight and career. Now, he won his second fight and expressed his wish to be a champion in 2025.
