Ex-UFC fighter Paige VanZant is a mixed martial artist who gained popularity on the bare-knuckle boxing stage. Following her career in fighting, she started an OnlyFans page which received a lot of criticism from fans. She has recently been on the receiving end of a lot of harsh remarks about her weight and body shaming. Paige and her husband, MMA fighter Austin Vanderford, host the YouTube channel ‘Paige and Austin: A Kickass Love Story.’
The comments on the videos on her channel are vile. The fighter-turned-OnlyFans-model receives a lot of backlash for her supposed weight gain and shape. This prompted Paige VanZant to rant about the situation on her Instagram. The ex-fighter posted a video of her body with a long caption venting her frustration about the comments on her YouTube channel.
“I have been really good at putting my best self forward,” wrote Paige VanZant. She continued, “Making sure the world sees the ‘prettiest’ side of me. Where I fell short is that I never showed the true me. Until now. The truth is, yes, I have gained a lot of weight…. probably 20+ pounds but I also gained strength, power, muscle, and a fuck ton of happiness. I see every single comment on my YouTube channel about how I look pregnant, obese, fat as fuck, and won’t be able to fit through a door soon.“
She then said, “The fat me, the broken me, the skinny me, and the happiest fucking version of me I have ever been. Social media will never be real but I’ll try and be better. Anyway, check out my YouTube channel.”
Paige VanZant talks about her struggles in the past

Ex-UFC fighter Paige VanZant’s rise in the company has been inspiring. The fighter had dealt with a lot of issues prior to her MMA career. The retired contender talks about her eating disorder, bullying, and sexual assault during her childhood years on the broadcast, ‘Good Morning America.’
“I didn’t have anybody to turn to,” said Paige VanZant. She then continued, “It gets bad enough that I have to run into the bathroom and I’d eat my lunch in the toilet. I felt too scared to eat lunch in the cafeteria.“
“I felt like I was a smart girl. My parents raised me to know better and to have some intuition and it all went out the window because I was lonely,” said Paige VanZant. The fighter mentioned how her harassment had led to thoughts of committing suicide. She said, “I didn’t see any other way out. When you’re feeling that much pain, you feel like, It’s not that you wanna die. You just don’t wanna be in pain anymore.“
“MMA fighting definitely saved my life,” said the fighter-turned-OnlyFans model. Despite the struggles she faced in her childhood, Paige VanZant has carved out a space for herself in the MMA and UFC community.
