Khabib Nurmagomedov wrestles with Cain Velasquez
Khabib Nurmagomedeov’s retirement from competitive fighting saddened many fans. Fans worldwide wanted to see Khabib fight for much longer, considering many people didn’t know the fighter properly before the McGregor fight. More than half the Russian’s career went without the fans noticing him. His composed behavior, respectful attitude, and dedication to his family and their principles only got respect after the McGregor fight.
The fans recently saw Khabib fighting while training with UFC legend Cain Velasquez. The heavyweight made a name for himself by beating Brock Lesnar a decade ago in the UFC. His career deteriorated over the years in the octagon, and following his underwhelming performance against Francis Ngannou, Valesquez retired in 2019. Post-retirement, Cain Velasquez joined AAA Worldwide, a Mexican wrestling promotion.
Khabib and Cain seemed to have caught up recently and practiced a bit of wrestling on the mat for the sake of it. While Khabib’s arch-rival Conor McGregor seems to be at rock bottom, the Russian champion lives his life away from all media attention. ‘The Eagle’ remains undefeated in the octagon and life.
