Conor McGregor is a UFC superstar and coached in the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. In this competition, Mcgregor competed against fellow lightweight Michael Chandler, who is a rival coach this season. Recently, McGregor took his TUF team for a celebratory steak dinner in Vegas and gave them a souvenir at the end of the dinner.

Team Mcgregor had a lousy start in TUF 31, with many winners emerging from Team Chandler. Mcgregor’s team consisted of many lightweight and bantamweight prospects. Later in the show, Team Mcgregor found its grounding with some victories. Further, Conor set up a fancy dinner at Hance Fine Steaks to celebrate the fighters’ efforts on the show. At the end of the feast, McGregor gifted a thousand dollar worth of chips to his fighters to show his gratitude. Mcgregor, who is the wealthiest MMA fighter of all time, has never shied away from showing love to his team on the show.

In the latest episode of TUF, all finalists were revealed as the lightweight bracket consisted of members from Team Chandler. The only representative from Team McGregor is in the bantamweight finals. Brad Katona changed his team toward the end of the season. McGregor will look forward to the bantamweight finals as one of his finest fighters will fight at that stage. All eyes will be on Brad Katona, winner of TUF 27, as he awaits his matchup against Cody Gibson.

Further, Mcgregor and Chandler also faced off in episode 12 of TUF with the other finalists. Both fighters are speculated to fight in a lightweight bout as Mcgregor awaits his UFC return. Mcgregor will return after two years of layoff due to a leg injury he suffered against Dustin Poirier.

In episode 11 of TUF 31, Conor McGregor faced off against Michael Chandler with the other finalists in the season. This could be a trailer for all the fight fans who are eagerly waiting for this matchup.

Both the coaches stood in the center of the octagon facing each other. McGregor and Chandler both seemed ready for their matchup in the faceoff. Additionally, McGregor spoke about his eagerness to fight Chandler after the face-off. There were sparks on the show between the two coaches as neither shied away from voicing their opinion. They both did their best to coach the TUF fighters and bring the best out of them.

This matchup between Chandler and McGregor has one of the most extensive buildups because of the show. There were some speculations about McGregor’s comeback opponent being some other fighter. However, UFC president Dana White cleared all rumors and confirmed that Michael Chandler will be fighting Conor Mcgregor in the near future. As all eyes are set on these elite lightweights, fans eagerly await an official fight announcement.
