UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre is widely regarded by many as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. St-Pierre retired back after his last fight against Michael Bisping in 2017 to win the UFC Middleweight championship and become one of the few fighters to ever hold a belt in 2 weight classes. St-Pierre, who’s considered the undisputed greatest welterweight of all time, has the record for the most title fights and most title defences in UFC history.

In an interview at the Patrick Bet-David Podcast, St-Pierre talked about things associated with his current stature as a Hall of Famer persona, fantasy fights, his relation with the UFC and much more. “If I have the same motivation to do it, yeah I believe so,says St. Pierre affirming he can beat both but only if he wants to make it through another camp, which is most probably not. “No, I don’t wanna do it. I don’t have the heart, I don’t have the motivation of doing it. I don’t want to waste 2 months of my life [in the training camp] doing this, I don’t want to put myself through the stress, through the grind of doing this,” concluded St. Pierre.

What do you make of this assessment by St-Pierre, do you think he has that skillset even for the megastars of current generation like McGregor and Khabib? Who do you think St-Pierre should fight if he ever decided to come back to the Octagon, or will he ever come back? Where do you put St-Pierre’s status amongst the greatest mixed martial artists of all time?
