In this era of modern technology, it is very easy to hack into the social media accounts of any person. Many celebrities have been a target of hacking and scams throughout their careers. Former featherweight champion Max Holloway is the latest UFC fighter to be a victim of these illegal practices. His account was taken over by scammers that were selling Macbooks.

A message from Holloway’s Twitter account had fans alerted about the spam. The message mentioned an offer for selling Macbook laptops at a discounted price. It ended with an invitation to the personal chat for further inquiries on the product. The message looked very suspicious and was immediately recognized as spam by fans. Due to this, Holloway has made his social media accounts private.

Holloway is already distressed about the devastating fires in his home state of Maui, Hawaii. He recently fought at a UFC Fight Night event against Chan Sung Jung and honored his hometown after winning. Holloway is not the only UFC fighter to be hacked, even UFC legend Tito Ortiz claimed to have his Internet hacked by some Venezuelan gangs.

Holloway has rectified the scam and gotten back control of his account, and clarified that he is not selling any Macbooks. He even posted a story on Instagram thanking his fans for letting him know about the hack. It is a growing problem, and it is important for fighters to be aware of the risks and take steps to protect their accounts and personal information.

Holloways has one of the longest and most decorated featherweight careers. He has only lost to one person at featherweight in a period of ten years. “Blessed” has defeated many top contenders but failed to win against current champion Alexander Volkanovski in their trilogy bouts.

After his win at UFC Singapore, many fans believed a callout for Volkanovski would be imminent from Holloway. Instead, he spread awareness about the drastic situation in Hawaii and honored them. When asked about his choice to not call anyone out, Holloway revealed that he will always be ready and wants his fans to make the choice for him. He spoke about how he was just here to have a good time and earn money.

There is no doubt that Holloway is one of the best to ever grace the Octagon with his skills and expertise. He has dominated the featherweight division for almost a decade now and wants to continue. Fans will look forward to seeing”The Blessed Express” back in the Octagon soon.
