Former UFC double champion and veteran Henry Cejudo called out bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley for a title fight. Cejudo believed that he was next for the title and wanted to make it clear to the champion. He is known for his trash-talk and social media presence. Cejudo recently tweeted multiple insults aimed at O’Malley and asked him to sign the contract.
Cejudo took to Twitter, congratulating O’Malley for finally landing a punch even though the punch knocked out Aljamain Sterling. He called O’Malley many names, such as “Ronald Methdonald” and “Trans-Barbie.” He ended the rant by saying, “Get ready to go down faster than Logan Paul’s fiancé in the bathroom of The ESPY’s.” Cejudo joined in on the trolling of Logan Paul and his fiance, Nina Agdal, which Dillon Danis started.
For quite some time, Cejudo and O’Malley have threatened each other to destroy them in a fight. Cejudo stated that he wished to fight O’Malley to demonstrate that he was the finest bantamweight in the world. O’Malley remains confident in destroying Cejudo and recently took a shot at Cejudo’s MMA takedown defense.
Triple C also had harsh words for Suga after his dominant title win. It would be a collision of fighting styles if the fight actually took place. Cejudo’s grappling versus O’Malley’s agility and power punching could excite fight fans. However, Cejudo needs a win before challenging Suga for the bantamweight title.
Fans react to Henry Cejudo’s callout for Sean O’Malley

This is not the first time O’Malley and Cejudo have been involved in trash-talk. The two fighters also had a heated back-and-forth after O’Malley’s no-contest decision against Pedro Munhoz. Fans do not believe Cejudo deserves a title shot immediately after losing to the previous champion. Check out some of the fan reactions to Cejudo’s interesting tweet.
A fight between Cejudo and O’Malley would be an exciting contest. It would be a battle of styles, with Cejudo’s wrestling posing a threat to the champion. It would also be a fight between two of the UFC’s most popular competitors. Fans will look forward to seeing Triple C back in the octagon soon.
