UFC 277 is finally here with one of the biggest rematches in women’s fighting history. The greatest women’s fighter of all time, Amanda Nunes returns to the center stage to retain her bantamweight belt from her nemesis, Julianna Pena, who managed to create the biggest upset in the history of the sport. The pay-per-view event takes place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas this weekend.
The entire fight community was blown away by the first fight as Julianna did the impossible of defeating the former two-division champ to become the new women’s bantamweight queen. Pena is still a underdog in the fight despite submitting Amanda in the second round at UFC 269. Henry Cejudo believes Nunes is ‘more technical’ than Pena
Henry picks the GWOAT to get her hands raised after the fight this weekend in the main event against “The Venezuelan Vixen”. Triple C explains his reasons as to why he is betting on Nunes in his recent tweet. “I think it is the mindset. I don’t think she’s going to fight emotional this time. Number two, is the technical aspect. She’s so much more technical than Julianna,” said Triple C in his breakdown video.
“The first fight she fought very emotional and they were going toe to toe and she really didn’t understand her threshold. And through the emotions you’re able to get tired and that’s exactly what happened.” Henry also believes that Amanda is not accustomed to being the champion which will drive the Lioness to be more focused on getting her belt back.
“She misses being the champion…she lost her world championship and she wants to get it back. So she has the desire that she wants,” said Triple C. Henry also believes Amanda gets the job done under just 2.5 rounds against Pena.
