Henry Cejudo gives credit to Mateusz Gamrot on his win and says he has become a fan of Gamrot. In the main event of UFC on ESPN 38 which took place inside the UFC APEX, Arman Tsarukyan and Mateusz Gamrot took on each other. The fight was an incredible showdown of both the fighters skills as it was fully action packed for 5 rounds. Both the lightweight fighters entered the fight with multiple win streaks and with the target to extend it.

From the get go, both the fighters took control of their gameplans and started measuring each other. The fight was high paced and it remained like that for most of the rounds. Both the fighters exchanged kicks, punches and were also throwing takedowns. Tsarukyan looked better in the first two rounds as he was connecting more. As the fight advanced, Gamrot was looking forward to getting a perfect takedown and he was successful in it but couldn’t keep his opponent down.

In the final rounds, Gamrot was getting the edge and was beautifully making transitions from takedowns to strikes. At the end of five rounds, Gamrot was announced the winner via unanimous decision.

After the fight was over, ESPN MMA shared a victorious poster of the Gamrot on their official Twitter account. Former UFC double champion, Henry Cejudo took that tweet and shared it by revealing he is now a fan of the Polish fighter.

Cejudo explained that Gamrot is currently the real deal of the lightweight division. According to triple C, the fighter has a great competitive mindset.

“This man is the real deal. Not the slickest but a extreme competitive mind. Im officially a fan ???,” wrote Cejudo.

Cejudo is a double champion and is an Olympic gold medalist in freestyle wrestling. It’s pretty obvious for him to get attracted to fighters who have impressive wrestling skills such as Gamrot.

It surely was an amazing performance by Gamrot on his first main event bout. Both the fighters succeeded to take many fans by surprise. It would be interesting to see who Garmot will take on next.
