Expected fight purse of Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira, and Jorge Masvidal at UFC 287
UFC 287 features two of the biggest UFC superstars on the roster, Israel Adesanya and Jorge Masvidal. Both fighters are huge draws and have been part of some of the biggest PPV fights in recent years. Izzy and Masvidal are great fighters and their ability to sell the fights has made them the PPV superstars that they are. Similarly, both the Brazilian stars Gilbert Burns and Alex Pereira are also fighters with huge fan bases and take home a great chunk of money after the fight.
Most UFC fighters keep the specifics of their contracts a secret, and estimating their salary is one of the most challenging tasks. Yet, by examining their prior fights it is possible to obtain a rough estimate.
Adesanya in his last fight earned around $ 2 million and given that he’s one of highest paid athletes in UFC he might easily move past the $2 million mark after UFC 287. Alex Pereira earned $680,000 in his last fight against Adesanya. This contained an extra $50,000 for his illustrious performance. However, since he’s the current champion now and will get the PPV portion, it can be anticipated that Alex Pereira might make close to $1 million from this fight.
Jorge Masvidal in his last fight made around $900k and after his new UFC deal, it is expected that the ‘Gamebred’ will take home well over $1 million. Burns, on the other hand, earned $366,000 in his last fight and is expected to make an estimated $400 in this fight. Holland who in his last fight made $364k is expected to earn around a similar range.
