Ian Garry displayed an outstanding performance at UFC on ABC 4 event in Charlotte, North Carolina. He landed an incredible head kick to get the stoppage victory against Daniel Rodriguez. Garry celebrated this win in a unique fashion and called out veteran fighter Neil Magny for a future bout.

Ian Garry faced the toughest challenge of his UFC career against Daniel Rodriguez. Rodriguez is a dangerous fighter in the welterweight division. The Irish fighter defeated Rodriguez via TKO in the first round. The celebrations continued outside the ring as Garry went on to get a tattoo to commemorate his entry into the top 15 of the welterweight division.

Garry ridiculed Daniel Rodriguez by getting the number ’15’ tattooed on his right foot. Rodriguez has a tattoo on his chest with a similar font. The tattoo symbolizes Garry’s entry to the welterweight rankings. He revealed this illustrious tattoo on Twitter. He said, “Number-15 in the world tattooed on my shin. This is in the same font as ‘D-Rod’s’ tattoo on his chest; just to give a little special connection to him.”

The tattoo wasn’t only exclusive to Garry’s foot. His wife, Layla Machado, better known as Layla Anna-Lee, got a smaller version tattooed on the side of her ribcage. Garry’s teammate got the same tattoo on the shin to celebrate the achievement. Fans found it hilarious that it was the same font as Rodriguez’s tattoo, and some found it disrespectful to Rodriguez.
