Music Legend Jack White, who helped rock music reach mainstream listeners in the early 2000s, used his platform to criticize people promoting and supporting “fascist” Donald Trump. Probably one of the most controversial world leaders of his time, Trump had a lot of haters during his time as president of the USA.
However, it seemed as though many UFC fans had overlooked past controversies at UFC 290 by welcoming Trump to the arena in a resounding manner. These fans included celebrities like UFC boss Dana White, Mark Wahlberg, Joe Rogan, and Mel Gibson.
But many other individuals at home have not forgotten or forgiven Donald Trump for his mistakes in the past. Legendary musician Jack White is one such person. The star guitarist and singer, who was part of the iconic white stripes band, openly took shots at the celebrities who greeted and showed support for Trump at UFC 290. White stated the following on Instagram, “Anybody who “normalizes” or treats this disgusting fascist, racist, con man, disgusting piece of shit Trump with any level of respect is ALSO disgusting in my book. That’s you, Joe Rogan, you Mel Gibson, you Mark Wahlberg, you Guy Fieri. This is a statement from me, not a discussion/debate.”
Many citizens of America are indeed against Donald Trump being the leader of their nation. But for some reason, the people are always in conflict regarding Trump; some don’t mind showing him affection, while others despise the man.
Donald Trump creates more hype for Mel Gibson’s latest release, ‘Sound of Freedom’
Donald Trump set the arena ablaze with his entry at UFC 290 in Las Vegas. The already star-studded event seemed to be at its peak when the former president of America stepped into the Arena. According to some news agencies, this hype train was utilized adequately by famous Hollywood actor Mel Gibson. Gibson’s latest release, ‘Sound of Freedom’ regarding the issue of Child trafficking, was just picking up on revenue in the past week or so.
According to the Next News Network, Mel Gibson was happy to share a private meeting with Donald Trump backstage after publically greeting him during his entrance. Such efforts from the actor’s side seem convenient regarding promoting his latest movie release. An association with Trump and the UFC over the weekend would surely increase the current fame of Gibson and hence, his new film.
Whether such assumptions are accurate, Mel Gibson and his movie would receive more attention online after his linkup with the UFC and controversial president Donald Trump.
