After years of experience training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Joe Rogan is an expert in the martial art. Rogan understands talent and efforts when he witnesses a display of someone’s ground game. Celebrities have started to grapple in recent times. Tom Hardy has been winning competitions in England in the last couple of years. However, there is one who surprised everyone, including Rogan. He is none other than Mark Zuckerberg.

Joe Rogan reacted to the recent success of Zuckerberg in his podcast episode #1983 with Kim Congdon and Sara Weinshenk. He said, “Look at Zuckerberg strangling b—ches. I think that’s amazing. I love when people just, he doesn’t have to do anything. He’s one of the richest people on Earth, and he just takes a chance, tries to get good at this thing, goes and competes in this thing. We should all celebrate that. That’s amazing.

Mark Zuckerberg entered a local Jiu-Jitsu competition in Redwood, California. He competed in both Gi and No-Gi competitions. Zuckerberg picked up multiple wins to secure gold and silver medals in the tournament. The victory fascinated Rogan, and he called for everyone to appreciate the hard work and dedication of the billionaire.

Rogan comes from a combat background. He took up Taekwondo as a kid and competed in multiple competitions. In his twenties, he met Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor Eddie Bravo. Rogan got fascinated by the art of Jiu-Jitsu and started to train under the guidance of Carlson Gracie. He earned his black belt in Jiu-Jitsu under Bravo in the style of no-gi Jiu-Jitsu.

Mark Zuckerberg competed in a local Jiu-Jitsu competition in California. He competed in the Gi and No-Gi competitions and won gold and silver, respectively. Joe Rogan praised Zuckerburg for his effort and dedication to martial arts.

He said, “He’s a f**king savage. He’s been training in Jiu-Jitsu. This is what he did, he wore a COVID mask, and he put a hat on, he hid, and he used an alias. Imagine you’re right about to compete, and it’s maybe your first competition like just give it a try. I mean what’s the worst thing that could happen? The worst thing that could happen is you get strangled by a super nerd in front of the whole world. I’m very proud of him.

Zuckerberg follows Tom Hardy, Wagner Moura, and Anthony Bourdain among the celebrities in the Jiu-Jitsu world. Expert veterans of the sport like Rogan will always be there to praise the efforts put in by anyone to martial arts.
