“I will say this is MAGA!” Irish star vows to DRAG Donald Trump’s favorite fighter Colby Covington and hand brutal beating

Ian Garry returned to action at UFC 298 after facing numerous controversies in recent times. He went against one of the credited welterweights, Geoff Neal. As such, ‘The Future’ put on a clinical performance to earn the victory. Soon, he sent a callout to another controversial fighter, Colby Covington. Now, he detailed his ambitions of finishing ‘Choas’ in front of Donald Trump.

In his recent appearance on the MMA Hour show, Ian Garry went all out on Colby Covington. He affirmed that for all the ‘talk’ Covington would do in the lead-up, he would return the favor inside the octagon. As such, he envisioned a scenario of Donald Trump being in attendance and rag-dolling ‘Chaos’. Further, he promised to shut Covington for once and for all. Here is what he said:

All the sh** he'll have said leading up to that fight, I'll talk to him when I beat the fu** out of him in that octagon. If Trump's in attendance, I'll drag Colby in front of Trump and I'll beat the mouth off him. And I'll say (to Trump), this is what you've created. Boom! This is MAGA. Boom! Get rid of him, get him out of the UFC. I'll silence Colby Covington. I'll hit him so hard he never speaks again.

Colby Covington has a close acquaintance with Donald Trump and often claimed he was the former President’s favorite fighter. As such, Ian Garry insinuated that he wanted to embarrass ‘Chaos’ in front of his idol. Garry’s hatred for Covington stemmed from his derogatory remarks about his wife, Layla Anna-Lee, and himself.

While Ian Garry won his previous fight to extend his undefeated streak to fourteen, Colby Covington just lost his third shot at the title. He faced Leon Edwards at UFC 296 and lost via unanimous decision. As such, a matchup between the two could be justified. Moreover, with the controversies and bad blood between these two, it could be one of the most talked about fights in the UFC.

Ian Garry wants to retire Colby Covington

Colby Covington returned from his long hiatus in UFC 296 to face Leon Edwards for the welterweight championship. But, he wasn’t successful in attaining it and lost the fight. Now, the up-and-coming prospect Ian Garry vowed to retire Colby Covington. As such, he called ‘Chaos’ out after his win over Geoff Neal in UFC 298.

In the UFC 298 post-fight press conference, Ian Garry spoke about his plans. As such, he wanted to face Colby Covington next and beat him dominantly. Also, he trolled ‘Chaos’ for losing all his shots at the UFC title. Further, he promised to finish Convington and retire him from the UFC. Here is what he said:

I'm going to go out there and I'm going to beat Colby Covington like we've never seen before. Colby's biggest claim to fame is just he's fought for three world titles and he's lost all three.

Colby Covington had fired shots at Ian Garry during his lead-up to the UFC 296. As such, Ian Garry didn’t take it lightly and called ‘Chaos’ for a fight to settle the beef. Further, Garry just looked at Covington as a stepping stone to his way to the welterweight title.
