It seems like Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira have become very good friends after having their fierce rivalry. ‘Poatan’ recently visited Walmart and captured a video of a person who appeared to be a store employee following him closely.

This video got a lot of views online and seems like it also got the attention of Adesanya. Izzy re-shared the clip on his Twitter account and in the caption wrote that it would have been interesting if that man took a swing at Alex and later found the reality.

Israel Adesanya wrote: “Lol, I wish the guy tried Alex. They follow me in shops for different reasons now. Still, yuck this!” Izzy also mentioned that he often gets followed by such men inside malls for different reasons and he gets annoyed by it.

Adesanya and Pereira’s two-fight saga in UFC was incredibly entertaining and it was Izzy who got the last laugh as he managed to drop Alex Pereira in their second title fight and secure the belt.

Right after the KO, Izzy’s shooting imaginary arrows while the Brazilian was on the floor was an amazing moment. Recently, David Onama chose to do a replica of Israel Adesanya’s well-known victory celebration at UFC on ABC 5. After defeating Gabriel Santos in the second round at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday, Onama planned all along a homage to the UFC middleweight title.

After stopping Santos, Onama imitated Adesanya’s celebration of his title victory over Alex Pereira at UFC 287 in April by pulling out a fictitious bow and launching arrows into the fallen foe.

“That’s my guy, Izzy,” Onama told the reporters at the UFC on ABC 5 post-fight news conference. “Izzy fought a Brazilian and I was like, ‘I’m going to do what Izzy did. I’m going to knock this kid out then I’m going to celebrate like Izzy.’ And it showed, so.” It seems like the fighter was highly impressed by Izzy and that celebration and just took his chance to try it on his own which looked pretty good.
