Israel Adesanya has replied to Sean Strickland’s recent comment about the middleweight champion. Israel is currently the UFC middleweight champion and is one of the best fighters in the MMA right now. Adesanya is one of the biggest stars in the sport and he has been known for his amazing performance in the octagon. Israel is also a huge fan of anime and Sean trolled Israel for his love for anime.
Sean, in a recent interview with The Schmo, took a shot at Israel and claimed that the middleweight champion “probably jerks off to cartoons.” He said: “No, man, I like Izzy. Besides the anime, I like Izzy. He’s a tough motherf***er. Besides the anime, the guy probably jerks off to cartoons.”
Israel has replied to Sean’s comment on his Twitter account and corrected him for using the wrong word. Israel, in his tweet, said: “Lol, it’s called Hentai you uncultured swine.”
Israel has been a huge anime fan and has even used anime gimmicks during his fights. In his fight against Anderson Silva, Adesanya enacted the signature pose of “Rock Lee,” a character from the anime “Naruto.”

The UFC middleweight champion has criticized the presence of too many cameras in the ring after a boxing match. Recently, Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jr fought at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, in a lightweight bout. The winner would have become the first-ever undisputed lightweight champion since Pernell Whitaker in 1990, and the first in the four-belt era.
Devin Haney defeated George Kambosos via a unanimous decision after 12 rounds of fighting. Devin defended his WBC title and won the WBA (Super), IBF, and WBO titles. Haney created history and many fans and famous personalities congratulated him for such an amazing achievement. However, Israel has expressed his displeasure about people crowding the ring after the fight and the presence of too many cameras directly in the ring.
In his tweet, Israel wrote: “After a fight, the laaast thing I need is 75 mothaf***** in the ring all up in my bubble tryna put cameras in my face and take selfies lol. Regardless, that was a good fight, beautiful skills displayed.”
