UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya talked about a fight between him and Jon Jones. Jon is the former UFC light heavyweight champion, and he is looking to return to the octagon later this year. Israel is all set to defend his middleweight title against Jared Cannonier at UFC 276, but he also fired shots at Jon during the press conference for the event.
Israel is one of the top fighters in the UFC and he ranks third in the UFC PFP rankings. Israel will enter the octagon for the second time this year on July 3 and defend his title for the 5th time.

Jon last fought in 2020 and has teased his return this year. Jon has expressed his desire to fight the heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and also former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic. Israel was asked about a potential fight with Jon in the future and Israel said that a fight could materialize if Jon gets his life together.
While on UFC 276 countdown, Adesanya said, “He should move up in weight first. Go fight Francis, or even, like, I don’t know, stop being on TMZ. Get his life together. This is facts, or am I saying anything that’s not true? Just get his s**t together first, and yeah, start fighting again, because there’s no fight if someone’s not fighting.”
“I’m the one fighting, I’m staying active, I moved up in weight, not just talking about it. I’m going to do it again. Cementing my own legacy. I’m just worried about me right now. That’s the thing,” Adesanya concluded.
