It is well known amongst fans that pre-fight talk remains a key part of the promotion for any event. Many times, this spectacle becomes more interesting if the fighters have a personal beef with each other. Similarly, UFC 293 is no exception, with Sean Strickland and Israel Adesanya going back and forth with each other.

Strickland is well known for his extreme trash talk and attacked Adesanya throughout the build-up of this fight. Subsequently, he shared a video of Adesanya fondling his dog’s genitals, which sparked controversy and negative attention. Adesanya received a lot of backlash after the clip went viral, and he recently addressed the matter through Twitter. Adesanya uploaded a video of his dog ‘squirting’ with the caption, “Y’all gremlins missed this one…“.

In the clip, we can see the dog roll over and squirt for no reason as Adesanya pets her. Though the “pet fetish” allegations remain serious, Adesanya did not validate them and instead used satire to dismiss them. Furthermore, he posted several other tweets about his deceased dog in an attempt to throw shots at Strickland.

The old resurfaced clip of Adesanya fondling his deceased dog has disgusted many people. Furthermore, people have said this matter was between him and God, and some have even urged to notify PETA.

Predictions for UFC 293 Israel Adesanya vs. Sean Strickland

Most fans believe that Adesanya will make quick work of Strickland because they think he is a superior fighter. This may be the case, but Strickland may prove to be an unexpectedly tricky hurdle for Adesanya in UFC 293.

Strickland does not have the striking skill of Adesanya or any knockout power. In his career, Strickland holds a record of 27 wins and five losses. He lost twice last year against Alex Pereira and Jared Cannonier. Furthermore, in his last fight, he knocked out Abus Magomedov in the second round. Similarly, Adesanya has a record of 24 wins and two losses, but people consider him the skillful fighter between the two of them.

 Furthermore, he has also received recognition from Khabib Nurmagomedov, who believes that Adesanya will be one of the GOATs. Adesanya should win unless Strickland shocks the world.
