UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya trains at City Kickboxing under the guidance of renowned coaches Eugene Bareman and Doug Viney. The gym has developed a reputation for its high-level coaching and training methods, attracting fighters worldwide. Many PPVs have had multiple fighters from the gym competing on the same card.

On his YouTube channel, Israel Adesanya gave a sneak peek into his life. In a recent video, Adesanya spoke about the upcoming UFC 293 card in Sydney. He revealed that there would be six fighters from City Kickboxing Gym on the card. Adesanya further explained about the preparation for the upcoming bout with his teammates as they all gear up to compete in Sydney.

City kickboxing has developed a reputation for producing world-class fighters with technical striking abilities. Many notable fighters train/have trained at City Kickboxing, including Dan Hooker, Kai Kara-France, Brad Riddell, and featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. The fighters confirmed for the UFC 293 PPV are Adesanya, Kai Kara-France, and Carlos Ulberg. Tyson Pedro and Shane Young are also rumored to fight on the Sydney PPV card.

Dan Hooker rained with praises by Israel Adesanya, won’t be a part of UFC 293

Dan Hooker is Adesanya’s training partner and teammate at City Kickboxing. Adesanya recently spoke highly of Hooker’s fighting abilities, work ethic, and commitment to the sport. He praised the “Hangman’s” ability to push through adversity and put on exciting fights for the fans. However, the Kiwi won’t be a part of UFC 293.

Hooker is loved by the fans for his durability and toughness, and Izzy makes sure he attends Hooker’s fights almost always and never fails to motivate and support his teammate and friend. The pair also do reaction videos and interviews together on Stylebender’s YouTube channel.

Hooker recently fought Jalin Turner at UFC 290 and emerged victorious but broke his wrist. Despite injuring his wrist during the fight he held on to win the bout. This display of toughness and durability always makes Hooker a fan-favorite fighter.
