“GRANDMAS LOVE HIM,” Israel Adesanya, Francis Ngannou, more react to Robert Whittaker’s stunning win over Marvin Vettori
Robert Whittaker vs Marvin Vettori
Robert Whittaker just shunned his doubters and there’s no more much prouder than Israel Adesanya, that’s true, in a sarcastic sense. Whittaker, the former UFC middleweight champion, just shut down Marvin Vettori’s pressure-heavy style of fighting through his elite karate stance approach as well as tough wrestling. Whittaker has called himself the most dangerous fighter in the middleweight division including the current champion which is none other than Adesanya.
What’s next for Whittaker is quite unknown waters because he has already fought and lost to Adesanya twice. But since Adesanya is going to defend his title next for the sixth time at UFC 281, chances are Whittaker might face a new opponent to get his title shot if Adesanya loses the belt in his next fight. Adesanya is fighting his kickboxing rival Alex Pereira in November in Madison Square Garden. Pereira has fought Adesanya twice in a kickboxing ring and has won both times.

As Whittaker celebrates his significant win over Vettori, the Twitter world of the professionals of the combat sports react to the masterclass of a performance put on by the first Australian UFC champion in history, as well as the first TUF winner in the same. Adesanya wrote “They grow up so fast *inserts teary eyes emoji*” indicating that both Whittaker and Vettori are his children since he has fought both and defeated both of them twice.
On the other hand, legendary boxing trainer Teddy Atlas pulls off a wordplay joke while complimenting Whittaker and says “Whittaker sharp shooting now, grandmothers would love him at dinner, he wastes nothing. #UFCParis“ Watch out for more reactions below.
