“They don’t give a f**k,” Israel Adesanya gives an interesting take on Jiri Prochazka’s unique persona

Israel Adesanya- Jiri Prochazka
Jiri Prochazka always intrigues a lot of people not only as a fighter but also as a person, Israel Adesanya is one of those people. Adesanya is the current UFC middleweight champion with 4 title defences so far and is also the #3 ranked fighter on the UFC’s pound-for-pound list. Adesanya last fought and defended his title against preceding UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in a rematch where the former won via unanimous decision.
Jiri Prochazka is the upcoming title challenger for the light-heavyweight title against current champion Glover Teixeira, who he is going to fight at UFC 275. Prochazka, a fighter with an 89% finish rate, has won 25 of his 28 fights by the way of knockouts. Prochazka was making waves since his days in the Rizin so he only needed 2 UFC fights to secure himself a title shot. Prochazka has won over the likes of Muhammad Lawal, Vadim Nemkov, Fabio Maldonado, Dominick Reyes, C.B. Dolloway, Volkan Oezdemir, Satoshi Ishii and many more.
Israel Adesanya implies that Jiri Prochazka’s personality is what shapes his unique fighting style

On his Youtube channel, Adesanya uploaded a video of him breaking down the UFC 275 fight card that takes place this weekend in Singapore. UFC 275 is the first-ever numbered UFC PPV event to be hosted by an Asian country. During the breakdown of the main event, Adesanya talks briefly about being impressed with Prochazka’s unique personality that catches a different aura of attention altogether.
“Jiri’s old-school samurai vibes, I love it!” says Adesanya. “I love the haircut. This is what I like people who express themselves authentically and don’t give a f**k. That’s why that’s one thing I like about people like Jiri, they just come out of nowhere and just take the whole new aspect of martial arts and just like immerse themselves in it and then, just so you know, we get to witness it and see the devastation when it comes to fight…” continued Adesanya.
What do you make of Adesanya’s analysis of Prochazka’s persona? Do you think the same way as Adesanya? Who do you think wins between Prochazka and Glover Teixeira come this weekend at UFC 275?
