Dwayne Johnson lauded Israel Adesanya even expressing his love for the undefeated UFC middleweight champion. Adesanya’s dominance in the octagon seems to have left the celebrity dumbfounded.

Everyone is still talking about UFC 276, not only because Adesanya wowed the whole UFC and WWE world by replicating the famed Deadman’s walk, but also because he successfully defended of his middleweight title.

Rock congratulated Adesanya on his victory against Jared Cannonier in a tweet. He says, “No one like him. Class by himself. One of one. Congrats my brother.”

His tweet makes it very apparent that he is a huge fan of “The Style Bender” and believes that no one else is equal to him. Adesanya, on a previous occasion, received a special cheat dish called ‘The Bunny Chow’ as a gift from The Rock prior to his UFC 271 title defense against Robert Whittaker. It is the actor’s favorite meal that is a South African cuisine with Indian roots.

Before “Rock” became famous in Hollywood, he was well-known in the sports entertainment industry. It is since then the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has been in awe of him.

Adesanya discussed how he felt after meeting one of his idols on a podcast with Joe Rogan, drawing comparisons between how he felt after meeting Joe Rogan and The Rock.

He tells Rogan, Me and Joe, the first few times I met Joe, it was like ‘woah’. Now it’s like ‘oh, that’s my … Joe. But like say, example, I think I need to meet The Rock a few more times before that goes away.

He goes on to express how he feels about talking to his childhood hero, saying,  “ A lot of these people, I watched growing up and now, I’m like, like, literally talking to them like I talk, I don’t bother him. But me and Rock, if I need to talk to him, I can talk to him, I’m like, that’s crazy because I grew up Monday night, RAW; Sunday night, Smackdown…” He even praises The Rock calling him “the most electrifying man on the mic.”
