“What’s at stakes?”- Israel Adesanya places huge bets for UFC 275

UFC 275 is just around the corner and the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has picked his fighters for the event. UFC 275 is the first pay-per-view in Singapore and it will feature some of the biggest stars in the UFC. The Main card features fighters like Glover Teixeira, Valentina Shevchenko and Joanna Jędrzejczyk. With two titles on the line, everyone has been anticipating the event to be a banger and has even started predicting the fights.

Glover Teixeira will face Jiri Prochazka in the Main event of UFC 275. Glover is the oldest first-time champion in the UFC and he will defend his light heavyweight title for the first time. The event will also feature the pound-for-pound best female fighter, Valentina Shevchenko, as she makes her seven title defence against Taila Santos in the Co-main event. Amidst all the excitement, Israel has placed a bet on fighters he thinks will win on Saturday night.

Adesanya shared his bet through his social media and even showed the amount he placed on fighters. Israel posted images on his Instagram account and revealed who he picked for the UFC 275. Adesanya has been supporting Jiri for quite some time and has placed his bet on him. Israel has placed a bet of 4000 dollars on Jiri Prochazka for his fight for the title on June 11. Other bets include the PFP fighter Valentina Shevchenko, former champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk, and Jack Della Maddalena.

 “I’m gonna go with Jiří”- Israel Adesanya reveals why he picked Jiri Prochazka over Glover Teixeira for UFC 275

Israel Adesanya has predicted that Jiri Prochazka will defeat Glover Teixeira to become the new UFC light heavyweight champion. Glover became the UFC champion after defeating Jan Blachowicz at UFC 267 via submission in the second round. Glover is currently on a 6 fight win streak and will make his first title defence on Saturday night.

Jiri is currently one of the best light heavyweights in the UFC. Jiri is ranked #2 in the lightweight division with only 2 fights in the promotion. Prochazka is on an impressive 12-fight win streak and he is looking to add a title to his accomplishments. With such achievements, it is natural for people to take the awe of the fighter and the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is one of them.

In the latest video on his Youtube channel, Israel revealed why he chose Jiri over Glover in their match at UFC 275. Adesanya said: “If I’m gonna bet I’m gonna go with Jiří, young, energy, tall, awkward, Glover had problems with them. The past was why we fight because now we’re in the present. Jiri has a professional record of 28 wins and 3 losses and Glover has a professional record of 33 wins and 7 losses. With UFC 275 approaching, it will be interesting to see whether the Veteran fighter can defend his title or the young and dynamic Jiri can become the new light heavyweight champion.
