Israel Adesanya will never shy away from letting his thoughts be known on the internet. The UFC middleweight king might be a deadly fighter inside the octagon but he likes to take his time off tread dangerous roads to get his jokes out on social media platforms.
If you are a fan of Israel Adesanya, you know that The Last Stylebender has one of the funniest and most controversial Twitter accounts among MMA fighters. The UFC middleweight champion has never had a filter on his tweets and always likes to joke about topics that most people might consider sensitive or taboo. Adesanya has repeatedly said that he will never shy away from speaking his mind and his fans always enjoy tweets from the middleweight champion.
In a recent tweet, Izzy chimed his comment to a controversial debate about transgender people being allowed to participate in competitive sports amongst cis people. Adesanya responded to a recent tweet about Fallon Fox, an ex-marine transgender woman who fought a cis woman in an MMA fight and made a fool out of her opponent. Adesanya quote tweeted the story with the caption, “Genderbender” and shouted out parody comedy show South Park which is famous for making fun of radical political ideas using dark humor.

This is not the first time that Adesanya has gone out and commented something cheeky on his social media platform. Izzy is notorious for coming up with quick-witted dark humor jokes and pissing off a lot of the Twitter audience that have previously threatened the fighter to delete his past tweets. Adesanya is a usual suspect who gets a “here before Adesanya deletes the tweet” from his fans but Israel Adesanya is very firm about not deleting a joke even if he might go too far with his jokes.
In a podcast with comedian friend Andrew Schulz Adesanya talks about wanting to take a stand against “Cancel Culture”. The fighter believes he has the right to take a shot at being funny and admits that sometimes his jokes might be out of line. The fighter however wants his fans to know that it always comes from someone who is making an attempt to be funny.
“I don’t care if I don’t have that cloak of a comedian but I hit and miss sometimes because I was trying,” said Adesanya talking to Shulz on the FLAGRANT podcast.
