Dana White is also ready to make a title rematch between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira
The main event at UFC 281 was an amazing fight and fight fans certainly enjoyed the showdown. Both Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya gave their best and the better fighter won the fight.
Consequently, UFC president Dana White was highly impressed by the fight and is fine with making a rematch soon. “In a fight that most guys would stall, ‘Give me more time. Give me this, that,’ he dove right into this fight. His(Adesanya) only loss was when he tried to move up in weight to 205. You’ve got to respect him as champ and what he’s done. … I wouldn’t rule (an immediate rematch) out,” said White.
Adesanya suffered a nerve injury during the fight which hindered his movements, ultimately losing the fight. Currently, the fighter is focused on recovering from that injury and would return to face Alex once he is fit.
