Sean Strickland hurled a lot of accusations at Israel Adesanya during the UFC 293 pre-fight press conference. These include CCP allegiance, things related to his ex-girlfriend, and an alleged molestation of his pet dog.

In the aftermath of the UFC 293 press conference, netizens dug up an old Instagram post by Adesanya celebrating the birthday of his dog with the caption:

If this dog could speak...the things he could snitch bout me. But he won't cuz he's my best friend.

In lieu of Strickland’s allegations, a fan on X (formerly Twitter) tweeted, “izzy it’s looking terrible for you bro,” followed by two heavily crying emojis. Strickland’s accusations first came to limelight when he shed the news on his appearance during the Joe Rogan Experience.

Adesanya’s post which is eight years old now is being flooded with fans supporting Strickland. The comments on X put a bad shade on the legacy of The Last Stylebender. One fan tweeted, “The last doggystylebender.” There are many more comments mocking Adesanya for his alleged behavior. This is exactly what Sean Strickland needed: to get inside the head of the champion.

The UFC 293 pre-fight press conference became a success due to these mind games and accusations. The crowd was entertained, particularly by Strickland. As expected, ‘Tarzan’ did his thing, but the interesting point was that Israel Adesanya held his own against the challenger in an area where fans thought the challenger held the upper hand.

Sean Strickland was a recent guest on the podcast, and his appearance on JRE started getting traction after the UFC 293 press conference. The clip that went viral had Sean Strickland accusing Israel Adesanya of indecency.

When Joe Rogan asked about the middleweight champion to Strickland, he expressed his disgust with Adesanya’s actions. He explained about the dog video, to which Rogan said that he never saw it and wouldn’t watch it anyway.
