Alex Pereira called out Israel Adesanya after his win at UFC 295. Immediately, Adesanya replied to the call out on X. He posted an image of him knocking out Pereira. Later, ‘The Style Bender’ released his reaction video to the UFC 295 PPV on his YouTube channel. In the video, he laughed like Michael Jordan from the ‘Last Dance’ when he heard Pereira’s call out.

Israel Adesanya started laughing as soon as he heard Alex Pereira’s callout. Pereira’s callout was humourous as he told Adesanya to come to Daddy. The style bender couldn’t control his laughter as he was in a state of hysteria. Further, he trolled Pereira once more on the YouTube video by adding a clip of him knocking Pereira out. However, he gave props to ‘Poatan’ on his win. Here is what he said:

Yeah, he did it. Same arena, getting the belt again. yeah! I think probably Jamahal Hill is next for him but I know for a fact, it hurts his spirit which I like.

Alex Pereira became the new UFC light-heavyweight champion by beating Jiri Prochazka. With this victory, he joined the likes of Conor McGregor and Georges St-Pierre who became champions in two different weight classes. This was a feat that Israel Adesanya couldn’t accomplish. He fought Jan Blachowicz in 2021 in an attempt to become a two-division champion. But, he failed as Blachowicz won on the scorecards.

The rivalry between Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya started ages ago and remains fresh. The style bender recently lost his middleweight title to Sean Strickland. Later, he said that he would be taking a long break from MMA. Poatan called him out in an attempt to bring him back to fighting but the style bender just dismissed the call out.

Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira have a long history of bad blood. They fought twice in kickboxing and twice more in MMA. With, each sharing one win in MMA, Pereira called out the former to settle the score. But Adesanya laughed it off by imitating Michael Jordan from ‘The Last Dance.’

Michael Jordon laughed hilariously in the series ‘The Last Dance’ when he heard Gray Payton describing a past encounter with him. Now, Israel Adesanya laughed the same way when he heard Poatan’s callout on TV. But it didn’t sit well with the fans. Here are some reactions from the fans:
