The payouts of many UFC fighters are revealed as a result of documents submitted to investigate the ongoing UFC antitrust case. Recently, Bloody Elbow disclosed the payments of famous fighters like Jon Jones, Ronda Rousey, Anderon Silva, and of course Conor McGregor. Now, Jake Paul took a dig at McGregor on X for his purse amount.
The YouTube-turned-boxing star mocked McGregor’s salary as hilarious and sad. The lawsuit documents revealed that McGregor had earned approximately $25 million for his fights between the period 2011 to 2016. Jake Paul seemingly taunted McGregor considering that he was earning more than him now. He had deleted the tweet as it might have some repercussions. But, here is what he wrote:

Conor McGregor has been the biggest draw for the UFC. He was solely responsible for widening the popularity of MMA and the UFC worldwide. He headlined five UFC PPVs during this time. It was during this time McGregor fought the names of Chad Mendez, Jose Also, Nate Diaz, and Eddie Alvarez. ‘The Notorious’ earned an approximate amount of $5 million per fight. On the other hand, Jake Paul allegedly made around 30 million for his fight against Tommy Fury.
The MMA star and the YouTube star have been quarreling with each other for some time now. Jake Paul even called out Conor McGregor for a boxing match but lost interest recently.
Conor McGregor hints at his return to the UFC Octagon
Conor McGregor recently attended the thrilling crossover boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. In the lead-up to the fight, McGregor gave an interview with TNT Sports where he hinted at his return. He said that the UFC was looking to book him for a fight in April 2024.
McGregor injured his leg in 2021 and has since been out of action. He lost the trilogy bout with his longtime rival Dustin Poirier due to this injury. But now, the Irish fighter said he was fully healed and was in a good frame of mind. As such, he wanted to come back earlier, but the UFC held him for undisclosed reasons.

As Conor McGregor said that he would be returning in April many believe that he might headline the historical UFC 300 fight card. It was previously said that Michael Chandler would face him on his return but no official news recently.
