“I will fight for free”- Jake Paul offers to fight Nate Diaz in the UFC for free, re-proposes terms for higher fighter pay

At the start of the year, Jake Paul made a tweet tagging UFC president Dana White and challenging him. In the tweet, Paul revealed he is ready to fight in an MMA bout if White agrees to his terms and conditions. In the list of terms, Paul listed down some important factors such as fighters’ pay, long-term healthcare facilities for fighters etc.

Since then the pair have gone back and forth a lot of times on Twitter to throw shade at each other. Paul has been inactive in the boxing ring but his participation in the world of combat sports has increased in these last six months. Still, Paul has not stopped asking UFC fighters to leave the promotion and fight him inside the ring.

Recently, Diaz made a tweet about asking UFC to either release him or give him a fight. Diaz shared the clip of Paul Knocking down Tyron Woodley in order to show his intentions to fight the Youtuber turned boxer. He wrote :

“Ufc release now please or give me fight with anyone in July or august
I have bigger shit to do.”

Jake Paul opens up about fighting Nate Diaz

Paul took this opportunity to share his response to Diaz’s tweet. Paul asked Dana White if he is ready to fight Diaz in UFC only if white agrees to his terms. Paul also confirmed that he is ready to fight for free if that is what requires.

“Dana – I’m happy to be Nate’s last fight in UFC. You know the terms: pay fighters more and give them healthcare. Sweetener: I will fight for free.” Wrote Paul.

Diaz has been waiting very patiently for his last fight in UFC but it seems like the limit is crossed now. However, this whole scenario with Paul coming in and a potential showdown between him and Diaz are really very exciting for the fight fans. It would be interesting to see how this will turn out.
