Jake Paul believes he knows the reason why Anderson Silva is not in the UFC Hall of Fame yet. It baffles the YouTube boxer that a legend like Silva still hasn’t received his respect from the promotion.

Jake Paul and Anderson Silva did a one-on-one interview ahead of their huge boxing match on SHOWTIME PPV. During their conversation, moderated by Ariel Helwani, Paul said to Silva, “I don’t get why you’re not in the Hall of Fame.” Jake asks the question that has been in the minds of millions of UFC fans who watched the “Spider” during his prime.

“Guys who retired years and years after you that got put in there. You’re more legendary than that,” said Paul. Silva is currently not letting that affect his life and vows to continue doing his best outside the UFC. However, the former UFC middleweight champion believes, “it’s something political inside the game.”

“I feel like I know what it is. It’s the shark at the top who if he doesn’t like you will do what he can to try and stop you,” said Paul speculating Dana White’s hand in the disrespect Anderson has been facing. Both the headliners of the upcoming SHOWTIME PPV event have a feud with the UFC boss, Dana White.

Paul also claims Dana White and the UFC have been sending him emails to take down promo videos of his upcoming fights that contain footage of the “Spider” from his UFC days. This only means White has a vendetta against Jake Paul and Anderson Silva, according to the YouTube sensation.

Georges St-Pierre, the former two-division champion in the UFC and an all-timer was paid his respects by inducting him into the Hall of Fame. Another fighter, who is an all-timer like GSP, Anderson Silva is still yet to receive his respect. GSP speculates the reasons why the UFC might have not inducted him.

“Because maybe he’s an active fighter. They wait for him to really calm and not, you know, who knows? Maybe I don’t know if there’s a few boxing fights and then Dana’s like, ‘Hell, I want to pay you and to come back,'” speculated the UFC legend.
