Jamahal Hill will be cage-side to watch the UFC 295 main event between Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira. Hill is the former champion of the division who had to vacate the title due to an Achilles injury. However, his trip to New York wasn’t the smoothest.

The bus Hill was traveling on was caught in between Pro-Palestinian protestors. Hill uploaded the scenario on his YouTube channel. This is what Hill said in the video.

I'm trying to leave downtown. Our bus is being attacked right now by something, some protest or something that's going on. They're throwing, they're breaking our windows and all this and that, you know, like, stay, bro. Have any of my people down here, downtown, and you really got me, bro. Come get these people up off our bus, bro, now.

As the protest turned violent, the protesters even attacked the bus Hill was traveling on. In light of the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict, many fighters took a stance picking sides. However, Hill was not among those fighters. Notably, Belal Muhammad, Khamzat Chimaev, and Islam Makhachev are vocal supporters of Palestine. Sean Strickland, Michel Pereira, and Natan Levy sided with Israel.

Hill won the title at UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 283 against Glover Teixeira. With the victory, Hill became the first alumni from the Dana White Contender Series to claim a title in the promotion. He was followed by Sean O’Malley who did the same at UFC 292 against Aljamain Sterling.

Jamahal Hill warns Jiri Prochazka about Ariel Helwani

Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill did the same thing when they got seriously injured. Both vacated their undisputed light heavyweight title. Prochazka has since nursed back to full health and will be competing for the title at UFC 295. As such, Hill, on his latest YouTube podcast episode gave a stern warning to Jiri Prochazka.

Hill is at odds with MMA Journalist Ariel Helwani whom Hill considers manipulative. In his YouTube episode, this is what Hill had to say to Prochazka about Helwani.

This message is to Jiri, you know what I'm saying? Jiri, Ariel is not your friend, bro. He's not your friend. He understands that English is your second language and that you aren't as fluent with it as you are with your native language. So, in doing that, he says things and words things and puts them in such a way that he tries to drag you in and get you to insult other people.

Hill in his Podcast warned Prochazka to be careful of Helwani. However, he was happy to see that Prochazka refused to slander Hill even after Helwani tried to bring it out of Prochazka. Moreover, Jamahal Hill will have a chance to face off with the winner of Pereira and Prochazka at MSG. However, it remains to be seen how long he will take to recover from his ruptured Achilles.
