Jamahal Hill allegedly sucker-punched brother for bringing his daughter into the dispute

Jamahal Hill, the former UFC light heavyweight champion, faced accusations of beating his brother, James Anthony Hill Jr. The brawl allegedly began after a disagreement about a contract between Hill and his brother. The argument escalated when James introduced Jamahal’s daughter into the equation, fueling the already heated dispute. He questioned Hill about not texting his daughter, who was there at their Thanksgiving dinner. James accused Hill of insulting women and neglecting his own daughter. According to the police report, Hill’s initial blow was a sucker punch. Despite his hesitation about involving the authorities, James reported the event.

A witness also backed up James’s side of the story. He said that when attempting to interfere between the brothers, Jamahal did not touch James’s wife, allegedly going around to throw the second blow to James. During the altercation, Jamahal’s three children were allegedly present in the room.
