Jamie Mullarkey is all set to take on Michael Johnson in his next lightweight fight which is going to take place this weekend. The fight is featured in the main card of UFC Vegas 58 which will go down inside the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event is going to be the much awaited lightweight bout between Rafael dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev. Other than the headline event, the whole card is stacked with impressive fights which will surely entertain the fans.

Mullarkey is coming into the fight after a devastating loss against Jalin Turner at UFC 272. Before that loss, the fighter was in a two fight streak which he won both by knockouts. It is a great opportunity for the young fighter to perform well and register a win against Johnson, who is a veteran of the sport. Johnson is currently in a bad phase of his career, however he managed to stop his four fight losing streak in his last fight by winning against Alan Patrick. The fighter would be looking forward to continuing his winning streak for some time. It is going to be an extremely entertaining showdown.

Before the fight against Johnson, Jamie Mullarkey was with the UFC team for a pre-fight photoshoot. This is something that every fighter has to go through in which they get into their fight attire and pose in front of the camera. These photos are used by the advertising and marketing of UFC in order to promote the fight.

Unfortunately, Mullarkey photo shoot didn’t go the way the fighter would have imagined. After the photos were out Mullarkey discovered that he wore the shorts in the wrong way.

The fighter shared the post on his official Instagram account as story and hilarious mentioned that he got ‘ Vettori’d ‘.

Nooo I got Vettori’d ,” wrote Mullarkey.

This was in reference to the old incident that took place with former UFC middleweight contender, Marvin Vettori. The fighter was supposed to fight Israel Adesanya at UFC 263 for the championship title. It was probably Vettori’s biggest fight of his career and was ruined by the photoshoot where he wore the shorts backwards. The worst part was no one from the shooting crew pointed out to the Italian about his shorts.
