“He can survive everything”- Jan Blachowicz is picking Glover Teixeira to keep up with Jiri Prochazka and submit him at UFC 275

Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz made sure that he comes to Singapore to witness how the main event of UFC 275 will change the course of his aspirations for the next opponent in line with his fighting career.
Blachowicz, the preceding champion, will be witnessing current champion Glover Teixeira (who dethroned Blachowicz off his championship reign back at UFC 267) defending his title against Jiri Prochazka. UFC 275 takes place in Singapore and it is UFC’s first-ever numbered PPV event to be hosted by an Asian country.
The fight card is headlined by Teixeira and Prochazka while the co-main event comprises Valentina Shevchenko defending her title for the seventh time against Taila Santos. Amongst other features, former UFC women’s strawweight champions Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Zhang Weili will go for a scrap again after delivering a fight for the ages in their first fight back in 2020.

“He can submit him”- Jan Blachowicz is confident in Glover Teixeira’s ability to take care of Jiri Prochazka on the ground
Jan Blachowicz recently appeared in an interview with MMA Junkie, after talking about his future, he gave his prediction for the main event of UFC 275. He said, “For me, it’s 50-50 with little bit more on Glover. He found something in himself at the end of his career. He can survive everything, he’s got a lot of experience, he knows how to use it, and that’s why he’s a little bit better than Jiri, who is younger with a weird style, crazy style. But if Glover survives this crazy style in the beginning of the fight, if he takes him down, he can submit him.”
Now both these athletes have given their official weights, and fortunately enough they weighed under the official limit. However, Jan was ready to step in, in case any of them had to pull out because of an unforeseeable situation. “For the belt, I can fight tomorrow. I don’t wish them anything bad, but if something happens, I can do it tomorrow for the belt no problem. Even with this tube in my eye because still I’ve got it… it’s gonna be hard, but I don’t know, but I will try,” Jan concluded.
