“I would like to take the belt from Glover”- Jan Blachowicz is rooting for Glover Teixeira in his title defense against Jiri Prochazka at UFC 275

Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira
Current UFC’s light heavyweight champion, Glover Teixeira is going to defend his throne against the young prospect Jiri Prochazka. It’ll be Glover’s first title defense, and he is dialed in his camp for the fight.
Glover defeated Jan Blachowicz in the second round of their contest at the main event of UFC 267, and at the age of 42, Glover fulfilled his dream of becoming an undisputed UFC champion. He is one of the most iconic fighters to ever step inside the octagon, and his journey to the top has been nothing but inspirational.

Glover has a formidable opponent in Prochazka, and the challenger is taking the help of the former double champ, Henry Cejudo to prepare for this fight. Jiri’s last performance against Dominick Reyes was scary, to say the least, and many believe he can easily defeat Glover to become the new undisputed light heavyweight champion.
Blachowicz, on the other hand, is supposed to face Aleksandar Rakic for the spot of number one contender, and he wants Glover to win this fight so that he can avenge his loss, and continue his journey to become the greatest champ we’ve ever seen.
“Jiri is also a really good fight for me“- Jan Blachowicz won’t shy away from a fight against Jiri Prochazka

Jan talked about this in his interview with MMA Fighting, where he said, “I would like to take the belt from Glover. So I will keep my fingers crossed for him. I wish him the best in this fight. But I hope so if he defends the belt, he will not retire. He needs to give me the rematch, but I focus about Rakic first.”
While he wishes for a rematch against Glover, he also likes the idea of fighting against Prochazka, “Jiri is also a really good fight for me, I think all of Europe would like to see this fight with me against Jiri. Crazy style, weird style, but he does everything really good. We will see. I’m curious. I think if Glover is going to do exactly what he did to me in the fight, he’s going to win the fight and defend the belt.”
What happens remains to be seen, but these two fights can possibly change the landscape of the light heavyweight division.
