“I’m not trying to have wars” – Jared Cannonier wants to make quick work of Israel Adesanya at UFC 276
Jared Cannonier talks game plan against Israel Adesanya
Jared Cannonier is not here to prove a point by beating Israel Adesanya at his own game in the main event of UFC 276. The Killer Gorilla is coming into the octagon with a mission to kill “The Last Stylebender” and make quick work of him.
UFC 276 is bound to be a blockbuster pay-per-view event as the card will be headlined by the very exciting middleweight title fight between Jared Cannonier and Israel Adesanya. Jared is the “fresh blood” Adesanya has been craving for quite some time during his reign as the middleweight king. Cannonier on the other hand has been working very hard to reach the top of the mountain and Adesanya remains to be the only person standing between him and the undisputed middleweight crown.
Jared recently sat down with Submission Radio to promote his upcoming pay-per-view card that takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. When asked about his game plan to tackle Adesanya, Cannonier says he is going to keep things simple and not try and go the distance. According to Jared, the more time Israel has on his hands during a fight, the more ways he will figure out to beat his opponent.

Jared Cannonier is looking to “go in there and do what the f**k he do”
“I am not trying to go to the decisions or go to the scorecards. I am not trying to have five-round wars with him,” said Cannonier talking to Submission Radio. Jared wants no uncertainty inside the octagon in his fight against Adesanya. Cannonier believes leaving it at the hands of the judges will do him no good at the end of the fight so his goal will be to get a finish against Izzy.
“I’m just going to go in there and do what the f**k I do. I’m going to do in there and do what I train to do and give it the best that I have, and I know that’s going to be enough,” said Cannonier in his interview ahead of his huge title fight. Jared has already fought once in 2022 and he finished his opponent Derek Brunson in brutal fashion at UFC 271.
Adesanya has said that he will not worry about the belt heading into the fight as he looks to have fun inside the octagon like the “Young Izzy”. This fight has all the elements for it to be a blockbuster bout. Who do you believe wins between Jared Cannonier and Israel Adesanya?
