“Let them know they’re loved,” Jared Gordan releases a respectful callout to fight Paddy Pimblett in an emotional tweet based on mental health

“Let them know they’re loved,” Jared Gordan releases a respectful callout to fight Paddy Pimblett in an emotional tweet based on mental health

Jared Gordan- Paddy Pimblett

Paddy Pimblett has a potential competitor in line next in Jared Gordan but the latter wants to fight for more than just winning against “The Baddy.” Pimblett was last seen in amongst an electrifying home crowd in his home country of England when he submitted Jordan Leavitt inside the second round, a win that too over someone who’s never been finished in his professional career. Pimblett is so far 3-0 in the UFC with all wins coming by the way of finishes.

What was more memorable though was Pimblett’s post-fight speech inside the Octagon, Pimblett called out the men of the world to speak up their minds and not to deteriorate under depression since he lost his friend due to that. Pimblett’s friend killed himself few hours before Pimblett’s weigh in. The internet, particularly the MMA community, went on a brief mental health awareness spree to talk about the issue loudly.

Paddy Pimblett is one of the most recognizable names in MMA out of the UK and also in the UFC as well. So a callout over Pimblett would mean that you would gain some more attention than usual as well. However, Jared Gordan’s approach to his callout was rather humble and respectful for the love of mental health cause since he resonates with Pimblett’s grief over losing a friend.

“Paddy, I’m sorry for your loss. My best friend took his life too and it hurts. @danawhite wanted the fight. After I beat a Brazilian legend on August 20th I say we fight for the people out there struggling, and let them know they’re loved” says Gordan on Twitter while posting a clip of UFC President Dana White initially announcing booking Gordan for Pimblett’s UFC London fight this past weekend until the fight came down to Pimblett’s last opponent in Leavitt.

What do you think of this callout? Who do you think wins? Gordan last fought in April when he lost a submission to Grant Dawson. Gordan is up next in line in his career on the UFC 278 fight card when he will face Leonardo Santos. Who do you think will win this fight between Gordan and Santos.
