For a brief period, the former UFC strawweight champion Jessica Andrade was an OnlyFans adult content creator. Recently, she revealed what had led her to create the content and how it affected her life, going as far back as her childhood in Brazil. She hinted at financial instability as the main reason she created OnlyFans.

Jéssica Andrade is a professional MMA fighter from Brazil. As the former UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion, Andrade is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and competes in the women’s flyweight class.

Andrade opened up on the Connect Cast podcast about the issues that forced her to create the Onlyfans account.

Why did Jessica Andrade start an Onlyfans account?

Jessica Andrade claimed that being an OnlyFans model was strictly to obtain financial stability. She revealed that she was going through a tough phase and was forced to open an account when her ex-partner mishandled all her money and put her in jeopardy.

That’s why I did it (for money). I didn’t know the person who was handling my money. The person would tell me: ‘Leave it to me and I’ll take care of it. You’ll have no problems. I’m really good at working with this’. Then I got screwed...She managed everything, she handled the money. Then the money ran out...When you’re in the United States, you either work or you’re screwed.

As the bills began piling up, Andreda’s partner suggested that they start an Onlyfans. The Brazilian hesitated at first but felt like she had little to no choice because of her financial circumstances.

And then it was pretty much downhill from there. Andrade began receiving the money that she needed from Onlyfans, but a piece of her soul was being taken from her every time. Jessica’s new profession brought up too many childhood memories and resurfaced old traumas for her

She said that she couldn’t say no to the requests the fans were sending her. Her deep-rooted trauma from childhood abuse hit back and prevented her from acting consciously.

Why did Jessica Andrade take down her Onlyfans account?

Jessica Andrade’s mental health truly took a toll when the pictures began leaking. The Brazilian claimed that even though she was never satisfied with the stuff she was producing for OnlyFans, she held out until her master, Gilliard Parana, learned about it. Andrade emphasized that her failure to stop was a result of her suppressed childhood trauma.

Andrade revealed that when her master asked her about the adult content and the reason she was doing it, that affected her a lot. That is when she gave up on her online career. Andrade closed her Onlyfans account and began her journey of recovery.

Her most recent win was at UFC 295, where she fought Mackenzie Dern and won via a knockout. She is scheduled to fight next at the historic UFC 300 against Marina Rodriguez.
