The Israel-Palestine conflict has been very saddening and scary due to the amount of lives lost as well as the destruction. The most recent development is the Hamas militant group’s attack on Israel. However, it is also a huge topic of discussion in the UFC. Jewish fighter Natan Levy is feuding with Khamzat Chimaev on the same and had some harsh words for fans who are commenting on his post.
Levy had posted a graphic video of gunned down victims of the Hamas attack on Israel. However, the post faced a lot of backlash from fans who believed that it was “Karma.” Levy expressed his disappointment by saying, “Everyone commenting about “Karma” and what goes around comes around…Keep the same energy when we counter attack and flat line these motherf***ers.”
Levy had a back-and-forth with Khamzat Chimaev about his stance on the conflict. Chimaev had commented on his support for Palestine and challenged the strongest Israeli fighter. However, Levy replied to the post calling out Chimaev for his comments and challenging him to a fight. Chimaev had also made a post wishing Israelis to be expelled which was criticized by Levy as well.
Levy has always been clear about his views and has never backed down from a challenge. His views regarding the conflict have been highly controversial among fans and he has made headlines multiple times too.
Natan Levy beats up troll and antisemite who challenged him
There are many trolls that UFC fighters have to face every day on social media. However, they do not pay heed to the constant trolling they receive and move on. Despite this, Levy did not hold back when he decided to beat up a man who trolled him online and was a supporter of Nicholas Fuente.
Levy decided to respond to the troll by challenging him to a fight. In a video posted to social media, Levy said that he wanted to teach the troll a lesson about respect and tolerance. The fight took place at the Xtreme Couture gym which is known to be the training center of many UFC fighters. His younger brother also joined the fray when he beat up another troll.
Levy’s decision to fight the troll has been praised by many people, including other UFC fighters and Jewish organizations. Some people have criticized Levy for giving the troll attention, but Levy has said that he felt it was important to stand up to anti-Semitism. Fans will look forward to seeing Levy meet Chimaev in the cage soon.
