Joanna Jedrzejczyk will return to the Octagon next month at UFC 275 against Zhang Weili. It is her first fight in the UFC since their first matchup at UFC 248. As Joanna prepares to fight in the Octagon next month, former UFC Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas has offered Joanna Jedrzejczyk to train together.

Rose and Joanna have fought twice in the UFC and both fights resulted in the favour of Rose Namajunas. Jedrzejczyk lost her title to Namajunas at UFC 217 in her first professional loss via a first-round knockout. She then lost in their rematch at UFC 223 via a unanimous decision.

After all the rivalry they had, Rose and Joanna seem to have put all their beef behind them. Rose, in her recent interview with MMA Hour, talked about training with Joanna for her fight against Zhang Weili and helping Joanna with her comeback fight. Rose said: “I didn’t totally make that decision in my mind yet, but I was just thinking about it. Nothing personal against Weili or anything, but you know Henry Cejudo was kind of talking some crap before our rematch. I’m just kidding.”

Joanna is all set to fight Zhang Weili at UFC 275 on June 12. This is the second time Joanna faces Zhang in her career. Zhang won the first fight by a razor-thin split decision victory at UFC 248 and Joanna, is back to get her revenge.

In her recent interview, Joanna responded to Rose’s offer to train with Joanna ahead of her UFC come back and said that she would absolutely be interested in working with Namajunas even after they’ve fought twice previously and may meet again in the future one day

Joanna said: “A few days ago I got a message from Mike Brown that Rose wanted to get in touch with me. I was like ‘what Rose?’ and he said ‘Namajunas.’ I was like, of course, give her my number. Yesterday or two days ago I saw a message from Pat Barry and it went to the spam on my Instagram, but I responded and I am very open to do this.”

Joanna will end her Long fight camp that dates back to January when she first traveled from her home in Poland to the American Top Team facility in Florida with anticipation that she would fight soon. Joanna has recently signed her multi-fight deal with UFC and as she adds a finishing touch to her camp, she revealed she is excited about training with Rose Namajunas.
