Joe Rogan admits to going through rigorous progress to obtain a concealed weapon

Joe Rogan
Following a series of horrific incidents, Joe Rogan announced on a recent show that he had gone through the process of obtaining a concealed carry license. It’s no secret that Joe Rogan supports the current quo in terms of gun ownership in the United States. The prominent podcast host, on the other hand, recently disclosed that he not only owns weapons but also has a concealed carry license.
Colion Noir, a Second Amendment advocate, and gun lover spoke on The Joe Rogan Experience recently. When comparing the procedure of obtaining a gun to that of obtaining a driver’s license, Rogan explained during a conversation with Colion Noir. When discussing the leniency for applying for a firearm license in comparison to applying for a concealed carried weapon.
The renowned podcast presenter also discusses why individuals find it difficult to obtain a gun on the show. That’s when the popular podcast host disclosed that when he sought his permit, he had to jump through several hoops.
Rogan tell, “When I had gotten a concealed carry permit, I had to go through an extensive examination, which also involved showing that you are proficient at shooting. Why don’t people have to do that?”
Joe Rogan is beyond the hypocrisy surrounding weapons

Rogan deserves credit for not being scared to speak his mind. Rogan has always propagated the bearing of arms for self-defense. Guns are strongly embedded in American society and political issues. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees Americans the freedom to keep and bear weapons, and around one-third of American adults possess a firearm.
However a matter of fact, a majority of celebrities, are staunchly anti-Second Amendment. But these are the very same stars who act or produce violent movies since the genre is highly popular amongst viewers. Even in these movies, firearms are depicted to be evil. The hypocrisy is appalling.
Rogan being a highly renowned commentator on the UFC and a podcast host has a huge influence on the masses. Despite his support for firearms and the owning of concealed weapons, he reiterates the need for gun owners to own licenses and to be responsible while handling such weaponry.
However, he feels banning guns won’t solve the gun crisis the US is facing. In his podcast he tell, “Even if you made guns illegal, even if you said you can’t have any bullets, you’ll all go to jail, there’s so many guns, you’re not getting them all. It’s not possible. There’s more guns than there are people. Which means there are more than three hundred and thirty million guns in this country alone.”
His opinion blatantly tells that making firearms illegal wouldn’t curb the menace in the society and thus would need a more elaborate and well throughout recourse for the same.
