UFC middleweight fighter Sean Strickland is tired of witnessing the wrong trend in America. Sean Strickland is one of the most controversial fighters in the UFC, known for his outrageous views on certain topics. During his appearance in the latest episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast, the duo discussed how the USA was turning into Communist China.
UFC middleweight fighter Sean Strickland is known for having no filter and making insensitive comments. Despite the harsh criticism, Strickland has become famous for speaking his mind without thinking of the consequences. Additionally, his fighting career and his Twitter account have also helped him propel his fame among like-minded folks. After coming off a win against Abus Magomedov, Strickland was invited to the highly popular “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.
Fans were already expecting some no-filter conversations from the duo, which they did not fail to deliver. Strickland began explaining how America was being corrupted by big corporations and added that women should not be working. Strickland then moved to the topic of the current generation, where the kids were raised by the system. The middleweight fighter believes that due to a lack of moral beliefs, the system dictates what the kids believe and tells them who they are.
“America is becoming like communist China, where we are letting our school system dictate our values and beliefs. We’re letting the system tell you what you and your kids are,” said Strickland. Despite Strickland being famous for his outrageous comments, he did make a few good, valid points in the podcast.
Sean Strickland demands a title shot after his win over Abus Magomedov
UFC middleweight fighter Sean Strickland is among the few in the division to not fight Israel Adesanya for the title. With The Last Stylebender lapping up the division, a lack of fresh title-shot contenders has become a major issue for the fans. However, Strickland believes that he has paid his dues and should be given a title shot against Adesanya.
Sean Strickland is coming off a dominant win against highly touted German fighter Abus Magomedov at UFC Vegas 76. Before his two wins, Tarzan faced a crushing defeat at the hands of former UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira. He also lost to Jared Cannonier via split decision, which he still believes was not valid.
Tarzan’s back-to-back wins over Nassourdine Imavov and Abus Magomedov have given the middleweight fighter sufficient reasons to demand a title shot against Israel Adesanya. “We know Izzy’s on f**g repeat. This is what the UFC said, ‘The middleweight division’s stagnant. I paid my dues. I want the f** title. Don’t run me around. I took Imavov on f** three days’ notice. I f** fought this time, just give me the f*** shot,” said Strickland.
Adesanya will also be looking forward to making his title defense at UFC 293. However, he is yet to find a contender, landing Strickland in the perfect spot with his title shot demand.
